- Fourth Stage – The brain produces exclusive delta waves. It is very difficult to wake someone up in the third and fourth stages.
- REM Sleep – Occurs after 90 minutes when you fall asleep. The eye movements become rapid, your heart and breathing rate increases, and brain activity is exclusively increased.
